I think cheerleaders dating football players on the team they WORK for is prohibited...I know the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders can't date Cowboys...Its probably up to the team...not an NFL rule...
Jake Plummer, QB for the Broncos the last 4 years, was dating one of the cheerleaders. He got really mad at one of the local newspapers when it got mentioned in print, but it was well known for a few years. Now that he is out of football, she moved with him to Idaho I believe.
Maybe it varies from franchise to franchise. I know for instance that Dolphins cheerleaders are prohibited from dating the players on that team. Not sure if there is a clear-cut policy for all the teams that have cheerleaders.

It depends on the team and cheerleaders. The Buffalo Jills and Buffalo Bills have a no-fraternization policy...keeps things professional

This is true, to a certain extent. They cant be on the field during pregame warmups. There were some teams using cheerleaders to distract opposing players, so the league insituted this rule earlier in the season.
Yea it's true. That's why you see many EX-cheerleaders with football players. Once they make their relationship "public", the cheerleader is "excused" from the squad. I think many cheer squads do it so that there is not conflict between the squad and the team. ex. A star player is dating a cheerleader, then the cheerleader is cut, the star player tells the team that he wants his cheerleader "girlfriend/wife" on the squad or he won't play/re-sign. I know it sound far fetched, but teams want to keep anything similar to that from happening.

That is false. I personally know a cheerleader that was with the Titans and she was married to a FB with the Giants at the time.
This have anything to do with that little situation Larry Fitzgerald has going on? I havent heard of any such official rule but I can imagine that its looked down upon by the organization.
